Why was Flavour Studio founded?
Food speaks to everyone. People are curious about ingredients, cooking methods, food trends and the traditions of other countries, and more and more of us want to learn something new. Flavour Studio opened at Teurastamo in 2013 as a meeting place built around flavours.
Who can hold an event at the studio?
Both companies and private individuals can hold events here. Company cooking classes, team days and Christmas parties are the most common, but we also host birthdays and other private parties.
How many people does Flavour Studio suit?
The studio suits hands-on events for 10–100 people and seated dinners for 80. For bigger events we open up the neighbouring Kellohalli, which gives you 700 m².
What are the options?
We can run your event on a turnkey basis and take care of both the programme and the food. Besides cooking classes and tastings, dinners, meetings and other occasions work too. Just ask and we will work it out together.
What if some of us can’t cook?
That’s the usual situation. The difficulty scales from beginners to seasoned cooks: tasks are split so that everyone succeeds, and the head chef is right there the whole time.
Can the evening be in English or alcohol-free?
Yes to both. We run the programme in English, Finnish or Swedish, and an alcohol-free menu and mocktails are always available.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Flavour Studio is a licensed venue, so you can’t bring your own alcohol. We have a full alcohol licence.

Our sales team answers Monday to Friday 10–16, by phone (+358 400 211 921) or by email at [email protected]. We get back to you within a few working days.
What are the cancellation terms?
For a confirmed booking we charge 30% of the confirmed costs if you cancel 30 days or more before the event, 50% at 30–14 days, 75% at 14–7 days and 100% at less than 7 days.
